Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, just about credible. Oak on the nose, round and rich on the palate. Porty finish, considerable length, but doubts as to Nebbiolo character. Quite good of modernist style. 15.5

Simon Larkin : Ripe cherry fruit melds with vanillin notes from new oak. The palate is plush, with a smooth texture, modern in style, with modest definition. The stewy accent to the fruit takes away from the quality-forward and supple, this is a wine destined for relatively early consumption. Slightly overworked for my palate, with little emphasis on purity of expression. 14.5
