Nicolas Belfrage: Very deep. Typical balsam; cherry nose. Sour cherry fruit also on palate, firm but not excessive tannins, has reasonable length and follow-through. Drink from 2014. 15
Roy Richards Dusky, muted, then bramble, this does have balance and seems to me typical if not a massive Brunello. Gives pleasure. 16
Franco Ziliani: Dense, intensive bouquet with some overripe fruit and an excess of alcohol. The palate doesn’t have great complexity and energy and the wine is simply correct, maybe good but not totally satisfying to my taste. 12
