Nicolas Belfrage: A floral, garrigue-like nose of considerable interest. Clean, fresh yet complex palate with a sturdy tannic backbone and nicely judged tannins/acidity/alcohol, giving it an almost Porty character and lending one confidence to drink young or allow to age. 93
Bruno Besa: Lively garnet to ruby. Clean, defined smallred- fruit nose, youthful with mature strawberries and redcurrants and complex, mineral undertones. Medium body, super-clean red-fruit palate, with refined tannins and a lively finish. A great effort, yet a touch one-dimensional at present. 93
Andrew Jefford: Clear deep black-red. Warm, glowing sunset fruits, full of refined sweetness and teased into harmony. Leather and vellum behind: very attractive and very subtle, too. Rich and shapely on the palate, with ample sweet-fruited depths and backing tannins. Satisfying, vintage-reflecting wine of classical poise and profile that will have lots to offer over the long term. Such a beautiful expression of ripeness here, and so well judged: nothing excessive or overstated. True refinement here. 95
