Andrew Jefford: Dark, clear black-red. Sweet box and tea-leaf: a typical and attractive combination for 2013. Smooth, slender palate more or less wholly dominated by acidity and with only a modest contribution coming from very fine tannins. This acidity has plenty of cassis character to it, but there’s little wealth of central palate fruit to offset it. 2018–22. 84
Michael Schuster: Red fruit and lightly oak-cedary nose; medium-full, fresh in acidity, moderate in tannin; sweet red-fruit brisk in flavor, of moderate complexity and medium length; pleasing in its red-fruit style, and fine with food, but I’d give it another two or three years, at least. Another one that’s hardly a charmer! 2020–30. 87
