Simon Field: Delicate amber coloring, then an enchanting nose: subtle rosehip and walnuts, orange peel in the background. Palate initially dominated by caramelized and creamy notes, both of which underwrite the sweetness successfully. Overall, lacks a little profundity. Very pretty and well fashioned, nonetheless. 16.5

Richard Mayson: Mid-deep amber mahogany. Attractively lifted aromas, clean, fresh, and sweet, without being unctuous, with a fine liquid fruitcake finish. 16

Margaret Rand: Slightly raisiny fruit, decent balance. Has certainly aged, but doesn’t seem to have gained much strength of character in so doing. A slightly vague wine. 13
