Jesús Barquín:Ruby red with a brown-amber rim. The nose opens with vegetal, rhubarb, peppery notes. Not fully balanced on the palate, very sweet with a hint of bitterness; obvious alcohol on the finish. 89

Andrew Jefford:Deep oxblood red. Sumptuous and rewarding, but a little less aromatically detailed than the best of its peers. Generous, almost to beefy excess; warm, sweet, lushly fruited (fig and apricot skin, peach skin), but with a smoky growl. Exuberant and good, though without the exquisite finesse of the very best 20 Year Olds. Tons to enjoy, though. 90

Richard Mayson:Mid-deep core, amber-tawny rim; demure and slightly baked on the nose, stewed fruit; full, up front, and sweet in style, with a roasted edge to the wine on the mid-palate and a little disjointed on the finish. 85
