Simon Field: Amber coloring, then a pleasing nose marked by notes of cloves and dried apricot. Palate robust if slightly monodimensional; Oxford marmalade and figs. Well made and attractive. 16.5
Richard Mayson: Pale to mid amber-tawny. Fine, attractive, savory, nutty aromas, quite delicate on the palate, dryish in style with very refined savory-sweet flavors, very well balanced if a little austere on the finish, but a carefully crafted wine nonetheless. 17
Margaret Rand: Orange marmalade and coffee— breakfast in a glass. Intense and concentrated, rich and deep. 16.5
