Stephen Brook: Very deep red, with some brick tones. A rare, pure Cabernet Reserve, showing a sweet, cedary nose that has intensity though it’s distinctly savory, with a slight baked character. Medium-bodied on the palate, silky in texture, very concentrated yet not overly dense, tannic but not extracted. This exhibits a lot of spice and vigor, given its age, and a sweet, intense finish.
