BUY THE WINE

Michel Bettane: Less gold-yellow than Justices; hint of new oak, rich, but lacking complexity of fruit. Pure and long, but the sugar tends to dominate. 16.5

Thierry Desseauve: Gold color, pure and classic aromas of noble rot, honey and orange zest marmalade. Rich but maybe a bit tiring right now. We can wait quietly. 17

Michael Schuster: Deep gold; finely honeyed and gently oaky nose; middleweight wine, sweet, elegant, refined; long and graceful and pure, subtly complex and with very nice length; complete and fine Doisy-Daëne, very nice Barsac. Much better than its en primeur showing. Now to 2030. 16.5
