Nicolas Belfrage: Quite deep with ruby rim. Clean, fruit-driven if shy nose, but quality shining through. Plenty of cherry/berry fruit on the palate, side-to-side acidity, and firm but not excessive tannin base. Nice balance, good length, to peak in a couple of years. 17
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny; pink rim. An intense nose, with minerals, bing cherries, and aromatic, fresh herbs. An almost volatile palate, with fairly sharp acidity. Finishes clean, yet it is unbalanced by the green acidity. 15.5
Andrew Jefford: Saturated black-red in color. Either a cool set of sites, or a slightly earlier pick than many of its peers: This is fresh black fruits with a decided grassy cast to it. Smooth, soft, rich, open, and accessible on the palate. I’m not a fan of out-andout herbaceousness, but this fresh grassiness lends the fruit an alluring quality. A simpler wine than most, though still a delicious drink. 14
