Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: One of the best achievements of the year, with a blue–black color surprising for Margaux, strikingly pure floral notes, and just as surprisingly, silky tannins, which indicate perfectly ripe grapes. Bravo! 18

Michael Schuster: Scented, minerally nose; nicely balanced in a fresh style, with a fine-textured but very firm tannin; refined, mineral-backed, crisply ripe fruit in flavor; elegant, quite classy, well defined, and with good aromatic length; Margaux finesse and scent, but a firm, quite long-term texture. 2022–30+. 16.5
