Stephen Brook: Fairly deep red. Delicate nose—cherries and plums, floral and ethereal—showing more charm than weight or intensity. Rich, suave, and juicy, with considerable weight of fruit and fleshiness. The tannins are certainly ripe and the acidity vivacious. Not a profound or complex style at present, but it is balanced and long. Accessible, but has more to give - 15.5

Jancis Robinson: Dark crimson. Very sweet and rich on the nose. For the moment, quite restrained and austere on the palate. This will never be a blockbuster but is particularly articulate and pure. Straight-backed. Attractive freshness and confidence. Drink 2015–23 - 17.5
