Tim Atkin: Mid-straw/gold. Quite developed for a 2010 but with masses of aroma. Spice and pears and some butter. Palate rich and honeyed, with some cinnamon and clove. But this seems old before its time 14.5

Nicolas Belfrage 1 = color of water and 9 = deep gold: Col 4–5. Amazingly golden color for a Soave; flat nose, low acidity. Totally untypical and not very appealing 10

Alex Hunt: Surprisingly for a 2010 this has a deep golden color. The aroma is evolved and pastry-heavy. The palate shows some nice punch up-front but reverts to lumpenness, and it’s hard to be excited about the prospect of a second mouthful 14
