Andrew Jefford | A fuller gold than most of its peers. Some oak here? The fruits struggle to peer over the parapet, but it is quite classy otherwise, with a sense of sweet ripeness, too. Full and effective in the mouth as a food proposition, at the price of some grace and delicacy, but you still have to applaud this in context. It would drink well. | 89

Michael Palij | Another very developed example, with obvious floral notes, honey, iris, some barrel- ferment character including coconut and vanilla, allied to concentrated stone fruit and baked apple. Excellent example of concentrated, single-vineyard Soave—not destined for a long life but providing lots of pleasure today. | 91
