AJ | Translucent glowing garnet red. Earthy and fresh, with as much woodland copse as fruits -- strawberries (wild, of course) and raspberries; refined; unobvious, attractive in the mesh of fruit and landscape evoked here. A little sweeter-toned and more accessible than its blended peers; stealthy grace in style terms. Ample, full, with wave after wave of dry-sweet, soft-gripping flavour, and ample fruit perfumes in the finish.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2034. 90
BB | Transparent garnet to tawny. Refined, elegant, complex, tobacco, dried roses, smoked meat, prunes, strawberries nose. Layered, refined yet big tannins, orange peel, small red wild fruits, very long and weightless finish.Drink Dates: 2028 - 2040. 95
MP | Delicate, elegant nose showing complex red fruit aromas of red currant, pomegranate and cranberry. There's a lovely balance in this wine with the tannins and the acidity supporting the red fruit and subtle notes of rose and liquorice. This has balance and complexity if perhaps lacking the last word in intensity.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2030. 92
