BUY THE WINE

BB | Garnet to pink. Open, touch decadent. blood oranges, small red fruits, sweet tobacco nose. Musty, green palate. 82
AJ | Translucent bright red. Warm and lightly tarry; hot stones. Fruit, too, sharing that same aromatic warmth. A little more freshness and poise would be welcome. Big wine with ample warmth and ripeness. The tarry cast is still there and there are more bitter notes than for many. Still eminently drinkable, and lots to like in the finish which bubbles with liquorice and root spice.Drink Dates: 2025 - 2031. 88
MP | Simple and slightly angular nose with a green note and lacking the plump red and black fruit typical of this DOCG. The finish is dull and dusty with a possible cork issueDrink Dates: 2025 - 2027. 84
