Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth. Attractive wild cherry and cranberry aromas, hints of woodsmoke. Rich, quite concentrated fruit on the palate, with lateral acid effect and positive attitude at back. Well balanced and succulent, with firm grip and fresh finish, this wine will drink well from 2018 for several years. 90

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny, pink. A touch closed, yet broad and spicy, with black cherries, Mediterranean herbs, leather, and smoke. Balanced yet a touch short on the palate, with clean yet simple red- and black- fruit character. 86

Andrew Jefford: Deep, dark black red. Warm but rather grassy scents; dry grassy. Touch of kerosene. Very concentrated, however, with plenty of drive and structure—and, it has to be said, flesh. So this is an exciting and well-built wine; the only question about it concerns the quality of the grapes and whether there are any canopy issues. Much to enjoy on the plus side, with its overall wealth and generosity. 85
