Smooth, creamy palate, with tannins uncannily ripe and in keeping with acid, which is balanced by the fruit. almost too smooth, but correct and ultimately very long, with just a hint of amarognolo. lovely balance. drink 2013 for 15 years. 18

Bruno Besa: deep garnet to tawny. developed, a touch oxidized on the nose, with mature, jammy red fruit, but a touch green on the palate. not very long. 14.5
