BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium color, bright. A little dumb on the nose, though clean and fresh. Thyme and rosemary come through, hinted at rather than stated. Relatively easygoing, softish fruit on the palate, not a concentrated wine but one of immediate appeal. More elegant than powerful. A good drink now for several years. 88

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to pink. Clean and precise nose, with small red fruits, crushed stones minerality, and a refined spicy character. Balanced and pure palate, with fine tannins and a long clean finish. Impeccably made wine with considerable finesse. 94

Andrew Jefford: Deep but clear black-red. Savory, earthy scents, just clear of reduction but not by much, with some warm if generalized fruit notes. Adequate wealth of flavor and tipicità; well built, and generous fine-grained tannin. Just missing a little precision and allusive generosity. 82
