BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: Ruby/garnet with some brick red at the rim. Pepper spice and red fruits nose, touch of game. Very peppery palate, almost Syrah-like, with haunting freshness and acidity. A wine with impressive poise and balance, long and refreshing, nothing out of kilter. Refreshing and harmonious. Very long. Where can I buy this? Modern. 18.5

Jesús Barquín: Deep cherry, very bright rim. Red berries and oak, both of good quality but still wanting integration, with tannins equally needing some harmonizing that right now detract from the enjoyment of this wine. Modern. 15.5

Marcel Orford-Williams: Deep color. Touch evolved on nose. Rich, full. Bit austere. Baked fruit flavor and leather. Lovely finish with some sweetness. A good example of the new style. 15
