Richard Mayson: Slightly smoky, touch of toast and butter on the nose; soft, open, creamy flavors backed by lovely minerally acidity and good expression of fruit on the finish. For drinking now and over the next couple of years. 16

Charles Metcalfe: Subtle, understated, lean aromas. Quite reticent, with glimpses of white hedgerow flowers and lemon peel. Highish acidity, a touch of barrel-fermentation texture, but it doesn’t add up to as much as I’d hoped it would. 14

Joanna Simon: Ripe, sweet, stone-fruit and pear aromas and flavors, with a savory, spicy intensity on the palate. Subtle, integrated oak and mineral backdrop. Polished, fresh balanced. 17.5
