Simon Field: Luminous coloring, hints of gold beyond the sunset. Compact, spirity nose; palate equally restrained, notes of molasses and raisins; nicely constructed and capable of further development. 16

Richard Mayson: Mid-pale mature amber-orange. Soft, nutty-toasty character, quite dry in style, with some silky refinement. Finish is a little abrupt, but a fine, evolved Colheita nonetheless. 15.5

Margaret Rand: Sweet and simple; warming alcohol and no great character. 10
