Neil Beckett | Medium-deep ruby. A very engaging nose: elegant and finely spicy (Laurent identifies juniper, which seems spot on). Right on the border with Volnay Frémiets, and this seems very Volnaysien on entry, but there is proper Pommard structure underneath, where there are substantial but very well-drawn, ripe tannins, rubbery rather than rough. The fresh finish confirms its potential. | 91–92
