Bruno Besa | Pale garnet to tawny. Clean, lively, complex herbal character, with small red fruits, black tea, blood oranges, and hints of smoke. Medum to full body, with layered tannins, small red fruits, and long, restrained finish. | 92
Andrew Jefford | Very light, pale, and roseate. Refined and ethereal in aroma—an upper atmosphere drift of soft red fruits, cream, funghi, and dry twig. Discreet but appealing, though a little dry and almost burned after the wine has been in the glass for a while. Rather tangy and lightweight (though with admirable intensity) on the palate, and not quite the multi-tiered symphony of grace and understatement I had hoped at first the wine might deliver, but enjoyable and classic nonetheless. | 89
Michael Palij | Pronounced nose, and yet discreet, with a huge spectrum of aromas including cedar, black cherry, coconut, blueberry, and dog rose, with no one element dominating. The palate conforms, with the obvious alcohol and tannins blended seamlessly into the fruit. This is a generous, big-hearted wine for early consumption. | 91
