BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage | Medium deep, slight turn on the rim. Fresh and fragrant if a bit nondescript on the nose. Better palate than nose. Mouthwatering acidity and ripe tannins. Drinking now. | 90

Bruno Besa | Pale garnet to pink. Clean, elegant, refined, slightly closed small-red-fruits and dried-roses nose, with hints of smoke, petrol, and forest undergrowth. Medium to full body, with super-refined tannins, clean wild berries palate, and long, mineral, and floral finish. A classically crafted Brunello with great aging potential. | 95

Andrew Jefford | Deep, clear red-black. Unattractive, strained, medicinal-compound scents; zero fruit apparent. Uninviting. Rather dry and stringy on the palate, alas; not a wine I would relish drinking, though it does have fruit on the palate, and some concentration, too. | 81
