Simon Field: Attractive on the nose: cherries, damsons and blueberries in sweet harmony - an elegant dance revisited on the palate that is soft and harmoniously graceful. Pretty, but without the gravitas of some of its peers. 15
Richard Mayson: Rich, dense and quite opulent on the nose, not giving its all. Big, thick and rich in the mouth, this is weighty wine with good, ripe tannins lingering on the finish. Going places. Approach in 15-20 years. 17
Jancis Robinson: Purplish crimson. A bit of indistinct undergrow th on the nose. Definitely autumnal. Round, wild, quite fine - lots of ripe tannin. Interesting, not especially sweet - treacly. 15
