Nicolas Belfrage: Sweet and sour cherry compote on the nose; perhaps a slightly jamm y character on the palate, but this is cut by fine acid and tannin. Good follow - through and very drinkable and moreish. Just what it’s supposed to be - with charm and character. 16.5
Stephen Brook: Fairly deep red. Rich but lively cherry nose, withatouch of mint. Medium-bodied, fresh, clean and bright. Not an extracted style, but this has vigour and panache. It doesn’t lack tannin, but there's no harshness, although it demands food. Quite good length. 17
Alison Buchanan: Dark ruby garnet with a garnet-tawny rim. Polish dominated the nose, but there is also some cassis. Rather an odd combination of cassis and leather allied to autumnal fruit. A slightly confected finish. 14.5
