Stephen Brook: Lean, tangy, citric nose, has elegance. Not unduly sweet, silky, quite good acidity, tangy, lively; not much extract or complexity now, but seems balanced and stylish. Good length. 17
Andrew Jefford: Pale green-gold. Clean, fresh, but disappointingly unfocused. Rich, sweet, weighty, yet the acidity is livelier than for most, almost with a faint phenolic bite to it, which I welcome with open arms. The problem here is that the wine is very bi-partite: sweetness on one side, acidity on the other, and the glorious fresh fruits that should provide the liaison are missing. The intensity is good, however, so patience is counselled: perhaps time will bring the two halves together. 15.5
Jancis Robinson: A bit subdued on the nose. Then fat. With acidity a very separate component. Jagged and hard to read at this point. It may well turn into something more graceful, but for the moment it is an unintegrated assemblage of elements. Drink 2008-15. 14
