Nicolas Belfrage: Improbably deep color. Larger than life aromas and structure, packed with fruit, little elegance now but who knows? Certainly more Montalcino than anything else. Drink from 2015. 16

Roy Richards Spicy, cinnamon, this fills the mouth and does have those Baroque elements which seem missing in so many of the wines. The tannin is a bit dominant at present, but this seems to me textbook. 17

Franco Ziliani: Interesting deep but not too deep ruby violet color; the nose is very ripe, with cherry, plum andlicorice, but also some chocolate and spices. Good intensity and structure, length, solid tannins, but an earthy and dusty strange finish that tends to dryness. Lack of balance. 14
