Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep, youthful. Wild cherry with a characteristic waxy note on the nose. The palate is almost as much savory as it is fruity, a touch farmyardy; has personality but needs to work on the charm. Drink from 2017. 89
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet. Closed, dusty nose with black fruits and some minerality. Full-bodied palate; a touch vegetal on the finish. 85
Andrew Jefford: Deep, clear black-red. Dark, earthy red fruits; raspberries and coal, with a freshening note of apple sherbet. Limpid, pure, and long, with a dark, coal-like coloring to the fruit; lively though ripe acidity, and less prominent tannins than many of its peers. Fair Brunello in a minor key. 84
