Simon Field: Mellow amber coloring, the nose almost medicinal, and with a faint under-tow of sulfur. Palate elegant, with pleasing pepper notes, the sweetness beautifully integrated, and the finish harmonious. The palate delivers more than was promised by the nose. 16.5

Richard Mayson: Very pale in color with wonderfully refined aromas, toasted almonds, and Brazil nuts. Quite dry in style and supremely delicate, with refined savory length. This style of Tawny really appeals to me. 17.5

Margaret Rand: Big and rich, with a few raisins in the mix of coffee and chocolate and spice. Impressive and complex, vibrant and subtle. Really very, very good. 18.5
