Jesús Barquín:Intense brown-amber. On the nose, noticeable tar and vegetal notes lead the way. The palate is again expressive but not particularly refined, and also short of acidity. Finish is a tad bitter. 88

Andrew Jefford:Clear oxblood and russet. Lots of sweet cream pushing these aromas in a viscerally appealing direction (some younger oak in here somewhere?) Full, tangy, concentrated, and enjoyable, yet by the time we get to 20 years old, there needs to be some sense of refinement and sublimity, and this satisfying wine doesn’t quite deliver on that front. 87

Richard Mayson:Relatively deep and youthful in color for a 20 Year Old; lovely savory aromas, roasted almonds and dried fruit; soft and creamy in style, with a touch of peppery spice mid-palate, a lovely combination of youthful freshness and maturity on the finish. 90
