Jesús Barquín:Ruby with orange-amber rim. The nose displays less-than-ideal rancio oxidation, with hints of matchstick and medicinal notes that reappear on the palate. Hot mouthfeel and aftertaste. 83
Andrew Jefford:Translucent russet red. Some grace and refinement of aroma here, which isn’t true of all of the 10 Year Old cohort red fruits and brown sugar. Generous, sweet, gracious, and warming on the palate, with a little less fruit than some of the other 10 Year Olds but ample secondary depth and richness. Very satisfying. 90
Richard Mayson:Mid-brick red to amber tawny on the rim; another 10-year-old wine that seems to be quite full and youthful in style, fruit-driven, soft and suave initially, full and spicy on the finish, a touch medicinal, and peppered with tannin. 87
