Michel Bettane and Thierry Desseauve: A completely different style from its neighbor, as always! Very pale, very rich in primary aromas like grapefruit or pineapple, invigorating and sinewy. It is also marked by a small and delicious touch of bitterness. Very “technical” in its total absence of oxidation. Not as rich and ripe as others, but an impeccable formal perfection. 17
Michael Schuster: Turbid mid-gold; fat and waxy Sémillon to smell; moderately concentrated with a fresh rather than a vivid acidity; sweet without being intensely so; nice length in the mouth and with fine length to finish; very good in a not too intense style. Good second-rank Sauternes, on the fleshier side for the vintage. 2012–25+. 15.5
