BUY THE WINE

Tim Atkin: deep ruby/red. atypical? rich, dense, oaky, ripe nose. Palate also a little pruney and dry and tannic. a little over the top. tannins drying out the wine. Extracted, dry finish. Lots of oak, slightly pruney finish. 12

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium depth, with turn. Clean if not very expressive nose. Very structured palate in terms of acid and tannin, with fruit a bit hidden but there. Good length, on classic lines; not drinking now but should make a very good bottle from around 2015 for 10+ years. 16.5

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny rim. Mineral, cedarwood-like nose, with dried prunes, tobacco, and mediterranean herbs. Full body, with sweet black fruit. 16
