Andrew Jefford: Pale gold, with silver glints. Warm, with hints of rose-petal, cream, jasmine: very provocative and attractive. The fruits behind combine lemon, ginger, ripe grapes. On the palate, this is also a creamy, floral wine with plenty of lemony lift to the fruit and plenty of aromatic power, too. The seduction of the aromatic profile runs on into the palate, but the style of the fruit and the acid balance are rather fresher than those boudoir notes suggested. It works exceptionally well, in other words, both as a dry wine and as the expression of what is obviously a distinguished vineyard. 16.5
Andreas Larsson: Pure, fruity, and intense nose, with ripe citrus, peach, and mango aromas; the palate is quite full and offers tropical-fruit flavors—mango, papaya—and some creamy notes. Juicy, fresh, and long to finish. 15.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Pale to medium white yellow. Elegant nose pairing nice fruit aromas with sur lie and earthy scents. Very fine and well done. On the palate, viel Spiel, dried and ultra-ripe bananas, salty finesse, yeasty finish, very elegant. I do not like the bananas, but I guess they are temporary. At the end of the day, this is a very elegant, refined, and mineral-piquant wine, with a nice fruit expression. 15
