Nicolas Belfrage: Medium deep, some turn. Plum and prune on nose, chunky and firm but a little low on acidity, tannins correct, slightly short despite concentration. Falls away at back. 14

Roy Richards Fresh and clean, but not jumping out of the glass. This is modern, but with good feel for terroir. Grippy tannins, would have liked a bit more acidity. 15

Franco Ziliani: Rich, fleshy, overripe, fruity nose without fashion and mystery. Simple,, ordinary and jammy nose. The palate round, perhaps appealing to some, but without depth and complexity. A good Rosso di Montalcino, not a Brunello. 14
