Simon Field: Orange to amber coloring, refreshing nose with hazelnuts and flowers at the forefront. Palate relatively soft; an attractive, feminine style, tangy and approachable—almost, dare I say it, commercial. 15
Richard Mayson: Mid-amber. Stewed and rather stale with little varietal character or definition. Tastes fresher but still burnt, with a hint of dried apricot and a pungent finish. Quite well balanced but marred by the stewed character. 12.5
Margaret Rand: Curiously confected nose, a bit like little pink iced cakes. Palate a bit muddy and unfocused. Dull, unsatisfactory. 10
