Simon Field: Luminous coloring, and a beguiling purity on the nose; honey, Seville oranges, and ripe figs. Palate echoes this purity, rapier acidity, and a fruit profile, which is quietly assertive, very clean, and with linear authority, and an almost resinous note on the finish. A most impressive Terrantez. 16.5

Richard Mayson: Mid-amber. Open, expressive nose but marred by cheesiness and a hint of Marmite. Soft, medium-rich, but not terribly characteristic. Smooth, quite well balanced, with a finish akin to sucking a savoury cocktail eat. 16

Margaret Rand: Nose of Primula cheese triangles plus smoke—rather attractive. Palate characterful and assured: sour, preserved lemons, smoke, nuts, a lean, linear structure with enough muscle to round it out, and a very long finish. Confident, characterful, very good. 17
