Bruno Besa | Bright ruby to pink. Complex, refined, deep yet elegant red-fruit nose, with mineral intensity; lively with crushed stones, aromatic and dried herbs, leather, cedarwood, and perfectly mature red cherries. Medium- to full-bodied, compact, red-fruit palate, mineral and complex, with a super-clean finish. Sangiovese at its best. | 93

Andrew Jefford | Bright, limpid and clear. Fresh, clean, pure, light, and fresh in style, almost with Cologne- style fruits. Out of the run of play, but very attractive. Light, dancing, and incisive, with more of that orange-skin and bergamot charm. | 88

Anthony Rose | Medium-ruby, evolving to garnet at the rim; instantly fresh, cherryish, and appealing on the nose; nicely textured with sub-threshold oak, juicy and refreshing raspberry and cherry fruit quality, authentically Sangiovese, and while the first impression is of a lightish red, it earns its stripes with a finely textured purity of fruit and at the same time supportive structure of fine tannins and freshness. This one needs time: 10+ years. | 93
