Andrew Jefford | Light, clear garnet-red. Sweet, warm, fine-grained, with just a touch of raisin and semolina suggesting maximum ripeness. Strangely, there is also a hoppy note, a touch of hop resin. Anthony Rose | Pale in color; very nice cherry-fruit sweetness on the nose. A really bright style that belies its maturity, and yet despite the apparent youthful sweetness of raspberry and cherry fruit, it holds together with excellent structure and aging potential. | 92
