Bruno Besa | Light ruby to garnet, pink. Youthful, clean, red-fruit nose, with aromatic herbs and hints of cedarwood and leather. Medium- to full-bodied, with compact tannins, clean red fruit, and a long, mineral finish. A refined Sangiovese for mid-term rather than long-term cellaring. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Light, clear garnet-red. Sweet, warm, fine-grained, with just a touch of raisin and semolina suggesting maximum ripeness. Strangely, there is also a hoppy note, a touch of hop resin. Light, tangy, rather acidic and driving on the palate, with more hop resin. Slightly odd and unhappy ripening. | 84

Anthony Rose | Pale in color; very nice cherry-fruit sweetness on the nose. A really bright style that belies its maturity, and yet despite the apparent youthful sweetness of raspberry and cherry fruit, it holds together with excellent structure and aging potential. | 92
