Neil Beckett | An hors classe flagship cuvée, from north and south of this tripartite village to give a complete and rounded reflection of it, the most significant parcel being in Les Longecourts, below premier cru Les St-Georges, which contributes depth and structure. Deep luminous ruby. Clean and darkly fruited to smell, the oak integrating well (5 of the 19 barrels were new, which seems perfect). Remarkable density but also freshness and mineral vitality, exceptionally complex and complete for the level. | 90–91
