Bruno Besa | Ruby to garnet. Mineral, clean, and complex red-fruits nose, with hazel nuts, cranberries, red currants, violets, rose water, and aromatic herbs. Medium to full body, with sweet yet lively red fruit, layered tannins, and clean, long, and inviting finish. | 93
Andrew Jefford | Clear, dark black-red. Lifted but dry-hued, with crushed walnuts among the redcurrant fruits; wet straw, too. The fruit is emphatic nonetheless. Deep, dark, and full, with lots of earthy, textured fullness. Generous and accessible wine of some depth, hence seriousness. The aromatic profile is allusive, but not quite exquisite, though this may modulate with time setting up a higher score for this generally promising wine. | 87
Michael Palij | This wine shows a herbal and herbaceous note of eucalypt, hay, and bell pepper allied to black plum, red cherry, and sultana. The palate shows a perfect balance, with concentrated black fruit, very high alcohol, and admirable tannins and acidity. This has all the hallmarks of a great wine that needs more time in the bottle. | 96
