Bruno Besa | Ruby, top tawny. Open, intense, mature, a touch developed, farmyard nose.Medium body, slightly rustic tannins and finish. | 88
Andrew Jefford | Clear, deep garnet-red. Smooth, savory, and warm; settled and well-rounded aromas of some comfort, though not particularly detailed, focused, or allusive. Smooth and sustained, concentrated, though not particularly fresh, focused, or primary in style. A fair effort. Drinking pleasure, certainly, in the short term, and indeed in terms of its concentration the medium term, too, but stylistically there is probably not enough finesse to carry it far. | 84
Michael Palij | The empyreumatic notes on the nose, of charred wood, cedar, and coconut, indicate a wine that has spent considerable time in oak. In the mouth, the dried fruit, including cherry and cranberry, are impressive but fail to dislodge the leviathan tannins from their perch. An excellent wine, but currently dominated by its phenols. | 90
