Stephen Brook: Rich lime nose. Very ripe on the palate, with more sweetness than expected, separated by a small gulf from the underlying acidity. Has an appea ling juiciness and succulence, and the elements should integrate with a bit more bottle age. A long ripe citric finish. 16.5
Jancis Robinson: Very 'cool' low-key aromas. Then rather ample and ripe. Gentle palate, quite evolved, and good acid/fruit balance. Not sure it's a long distance runner, though. And there is still a bit of astringency. Pinched finish. 13.5
Alexander Scott: Classic Rheingau Riesling to smell, some intensity, carried through to the palate. This is properly concentrated, but one struggles to find any outstanding character traits. Very good, though. 14.5
