Nicolas Belfrage: Having started at 25 this is penultimate wine and probably deserves better than I am able to give it now, when my palate is completely exhausted. Very bright color and fresh lively fruit on nose with good acid-fruit balance on palate. Fine tuned and long, and should age well. 2010-2025. 17

Roy Richards This is stinky in a different way than 22. Staved red fruit – freshens with aeration. The palate is open fruit, but with some pretty dry tannins behind. Would not expect this to age gracefully. Bitter finish. 15

Franco Ziliani: Ruby color of good intensity but light and brilliant. The nose is absolutely Tuscan, a Sangiovese style with wild, earthly, mineral notes, dried flowers, cherry and plum and a hint of licorice and mint. Has complexity and elegance and a good balance between fruit and tannins. Solid structure, large and long finish, very appealing, fresh, good to drink now but with a good ageing potential. Very salty with a good acidity on the finish. 16
