Nicolas Belfrage: (Second bottle) A wine of two halves: nose is drainsy, wood not right. Palate is good: firm acid of Sangiovese style, bright cherry fruit, good concentration (not excessive) and length. In a way, more correct than delicious, but should age well. Drink 2012 on. 16

Roy Richards Reductive and maybe faulty – revisit it. The dried out palate would tend to confirm this is corked, albeit slightly. Second bottle also in the same bitter vein, so probably TCA. 7

Franco Ziliani: Ruby garnet color. Very fresh flowery notes with cherry and plums, elegant well-balanced, appealing round palate, with good structure and solid tannins, lively acidity and long, earthy finish. Ready to drink but with an interesting ageing potential. 15.5
