BUY THE WINE

Nicolas Belfrage: Very deep, virtually opaque. Oak and berry fruit on nose. Blackberry/blackcurrant fruit with some toast and dark chocolate. Difficult to pick as Brunello in blind tasting. 12

Roy Richards Dark chocolate – gets worse. Bret, well-advanced. Very nasty. Score of 5 for turning up. 5

Franco Ziliani: Deep concentrated color but not inky. the first aromatic impression is of a wine almost ripe, evolved, with no possibility to evolve in a positive way. Cherry and ripe plum, a touch of sweetness, some aromatic herbs and peppery notes, rich on the palate, with a good structure, but without energy and development. The final is tired and just a little bitter. 14
