Tim Atkin: Mid-ruby/red. Still quite youthful. attractive spice-and-red-fruit nose; bold Sangiovese. balanced if youthful nose. complex, savory palate, with black fruits, a touch of spice, and a long, nuanced finish. long and complex and well balanced, although the tannins need time to integrate. Needs 5+ years. 17

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium color: correct. Sandalwood and cherry, with herbs on the nose. Firm acidity, good tannin base, ripe Sangiovese fruit and structure all the way; has good length, no excess fat—a good example. drink from 2014 for 10 years. 16

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to orange rim. Intense, smoky nose, with mature red fruits and hints of mediterranean herbs. Medium body, with lively fruit, but a touch simple on the finish. 16.5
