Andrew Jefford: Pale gold, silver glints. Subtle, softly vegetal; some supporting cream, almost a scent of cut white mushroom. On the palate, it is vivid, fresh, with an edge to it; taut lemony acidity; vinous to finish. Very classic, though stylistically more oyster-loving than a fuller-bodied wine for sauced white fish. Mouthwatering finish, with some stoniness. A well-judged, carefully crafted Sauvignon of untroubled classicism15
Andreas Larsson: Nice purity on the nose, yet with a good intensity and vibrant fruit—notes of ripe citrus, fresh pear, and white flower. The palate is young and vivid, with a juicy acidity and hints of yellow fruit. Still a bit young but balanced with a fine structure and rather long finish15.5
Stephan Reinhardt: Bright white color, with greenish reflections. Very clear and refined on the nose, floral aromas mixed with forest berries, limes, grapefruit, discreet mineral. Driven by its soil on the palate; lean yet complex and aromatic; firmly structured, refreshing, ending with a good phenolic grip. Still very young and crisp. Salty and a little bit drying, but this forces drinking it. Good sense of place. Reductive style. White-fruit flavors in the finish. Will become finer and more elegant with two or three years of bottle age16.5
